"This is why you have Renters Insurance"
Before you rent here, ask them about Apartment 303. The entire ceiling of the living room collapsed while I was inside, destroying everything in my living room and cost me thousands of dollars in damage. I was homeless for several weeks and was not allowed to move all my things from the apartment until they had finished examining it (which took over 2 months to finally get my things out). There were no other immediate move-ins available from the other apartments in the area so I took an offer to move into another unit by Windwood Estates. There were other signs of damage to the wall/ceiling in the living room and bathroom and I was told that they would be fixing it. They never did, and 1 1/2 months to the end of my lease, the ceiling leaked rainwater into the living room, pooling all the way to my computer equipment. The apartment managers did not offer any help in damages and simply said "This is why you have Renters Insurance".
This is a nice neighborhood, but the damages that have resulted from the neglect of the apartment managers to maintain their building has cost me literally thousands of dollars.
