It is obvious the menu at ""Mexican Village"" was influenced by someone who isn't Mexican! Today I drove by the South Side restaurant and the sign said now serving pasta... That's right PASTA! There is something very wrong with the menu at Mexican Village and it is the wacky food combination. Oh where do I begin...? First off this place claims to have ""authentic"" Mexican food. Thats an authentic LIE! I've eaten real Mexican food my entire life. I cook Mexican food in my kitchen everyday. Real Mexican food does not have tortillas that are served cold, much less bought from the store!
