        Founded in 1906 by the Dominican Sisters of the Presentation, Saint Anne s Hospital is a nonprofit community organization that provides a wide range of health care services to the residents of southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Located in Fall Rivers, Mass., the hospital s services include cardiology, pediatrics, surgical, breast care services, pathology and laboratory services, behavioral health and rehabilitation services. Additionally, the hospital provides 24-hour adult and pediatric emergency and follow-up care to more than 36,000 adults and children each year. Saint Anne s Hospital provides services to children with complex medical, developmental, and behavioral problems at its Fernandes Center for Children & Families. Additionally, it offers several diagnostic services, such as computerized tomography scanning, diagnostic cardiology, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear medicine and ultrasound. The hospital also offers several activities, classes and support groups, such as cancer survivor activities, community health education, palliative care, family health and parenting.

        Overall

        I recently had to go to the St. Annes that required me to be admitted. After family and close friends having bad experiences in other local hospitals, I lost my faith in doctors and nurses. Well that faith has been restored. I was admitted for a few days and I was in the new wing, St. Mary's pavilion. My nurses and doctors were the best, I could not thank them all enough. Whenever I had to ask for my nurses, they were right there. They new I was very scared and missing home, and they went out of their way to comfort me and be there for me. If anyone needs medical care, go to St annes, even if you have to drive a few extra miles, trust me it's worth it for the level of care you receive. Again, thank you to all my nurses, you all rock and you all couldn't do better because you all are already the best. Thank you for helping me in many ways and thank you for making me comfortable, and most of all, thank you for helping me get better.
