        My fiancé went to her appointment to get highlights and lowlights and was quoted 130$ and it would take 2 hours. She got there and the lady started she did the top half of her head and then made her wait while she cut someone else's hair. Then she came back did the other sides of her head and made her wait again to cut some one else's hair and dye another. Then she came back finished more of it and made her wait 30 more minutes to do another persons hair and finally got her under the hair dryers for another 45 all in all it took 4 hours and 45 mins, then tried to charge her 197.50$, 67.50$ more than quoted they settled on 137.50$ and she left a 10 dollar tip anyways and never got a thank you, and then when she asked how much it would be to do her hair for our wedding she told her regularly 29.50$ but it would be around $60 or more for her because her hair is thick and needs to make up for her losses today. Needless to say we will not be going back, her hair looks great and she is very happy with it but the service she received was horrible. She just tried to service to many people at one time!

        Susan has been doing my hair there for over 10 years and I have never been disappointed. My two daughters go to her for their styling also and she has done some great updoes for both their proms.         Just got my hair done at the last minute! Took couple hours for the new look that I wanted. I had long dry, damaged hair and I needed a hair cut and I had no idea if I should bleach or not.. So coming to this salon for my first time was awesome! We talked about the haircut I wanted and what color was best and healthier for my hair. Now I have a nice bob (not too short), with natural looking weaved highlights! The best! =)

        I was just visiting Alaska on ...

        I was just visiting Alaska on an extended vacation and needed a hair cut. I was able to make a fast appointment and received great directions. The shop is definitely a local favorite, and all the customers were very friendly, and had good haircuts.



        I got a great haircut at a reasonable price, but even better I got the local rundown on places around Fairbanks

        Wow, love the new look> Susan and Marge are the greatest. Friendly and the salon is so nice. Location very convenient. Near the University. Worth a visit. You won't be disappointed. :)

        Susan was EXTREMELY helpful to me when I was trying to schedule an appointment for my grand-daughter. Not an easy task when you are 2,000 miles from Fairbanks. Thanks Susan.
