If you know someone who is struggling to stop abusing or using alcohol, medications or other drugs we can help. We are an affordable residential detox program with a medical component, and have been Licensed and Certified with the State of California since 1999 without sanctions. We are located in Fair Oaks, 15 miles east of Sacramento. A Counselors will conduct a confidential assessment over the phone with the perspective client. Once a commitment is made our client will be evaluated by an outside doctor and prescribed medications to ease the detox symptoms; increased blood pressure, restlessness, agitation, nausea, diarrhea, and inability to sleep. We detox adults from; alcohol, oxy, benzo, Vicodin, heroin, Suboxone, methadone, meth, heroin and many other substances. Our fee and length of stay vary depending on the type of substance. Veterans and Native American Indians may qualify for a free detox. Medication is not the only component of detox. Psychological support is extremely important in reducing clients; distress during detox. After the first 48 in our facility clients participate in our intense in house program, about four hours per day; reading from recovery books in group, viewing videos about substance abuse disorder, the disease of addiction, relapse prevention and attending 12 Step meetings. In between groups is rest time for all clients. Because we only accept a maximum of 6 clients it is much easier for clients to open up in group and feel more comfortable. Private rooms are available. Prior to discharge we will perform an assessment to help determine the next best step for our clients and there continued recovery.
