Arapahoe Peak Health Center

I used to go to Dr. James Hutchinson who owns the practice. He was attentive and helpful with a great bedside manner and solutions for try medical issues. For female plumbing stuff I decided to switch to Dr. Kristen Gonzalez who is amazing. They get a little disorganized in their rooms on certain high volume days and such but everyone is very nice and the place is very clean.

I've dealt with a lot of GPs, peds, and ob/gyns over the years, but I've never sent an angry letter to a doctor's office until now. I made the mistake of making a "new patient" appointment, you know, to establish rapport ... was charged an outrageous fee for my trouble. I got there early to fill out paperwork, waited at least 20 minutes past my appointment time, and saw a PA for 15 minutes where we chatted about very little because I am in excellent health. When I called billing to ask about the charge, I got a big dose of attitude. Needless to say, I expect I can find a friendlier clinic in this town (I hope, anyway), and I, my husband, and my three children will not be returning to Arapahoe Peak.

Worst Clinic experience!

Very unprofessional. The office staff is rude and unfriendly. They act like high school children, gossiping and bullying any patients with a question. You can not request to see an MD. It's a rotation (and you will get a PA or nurse). I was persistent, saying I can wait which I did for a Dr. My son and I both had to been seen. I was seen, but my son was only partially seen. I had to come back the next day because they were in a rush to close and did not complete my son's clinic. The 2 Dr. I did see were arrogant yet had no diagnosis. All my suggestions were perceived as wrong or irritating. The 1st Dr. actually seemed okay but little things added up. The 2nd Dr. pretended to be okay, went thru the motions of nice guy but it was all for liability issues. We didn't even know if the office visit was over. We sat there and he came back, oh, you can leave. Horrid Office staff. Nurses were both friendly and one seemed somewhat competent. I was talking on my cell phone outside and two office people came out asking what I was doing! (Not talking on my phone in your waiting room!) . I didn't want to go back the 2nd time... but why pay for something that was incomplete just to go to another clinic to start over!?! ugh.
