This is a small family owned italian restaurant. A friend drug me here the first time and I was very suprised. They have a good selection, but the baked ziti is all I order. They have a fantastic sauce and they cover it in cheese! The staff is always very friendly and the prices are reasonable. (They aren't the cheapest around, but its worth it.) This restaurant isn't in a strip mall, or even in a shopping district, but if you step out of your comfort zone a bit you may be as pleasantly suprised as I have been. The only downside is their hours. We usually call ahead to see if they are open. They are always closed on Sundays.
We've come to Burkett & Sons for 3 full kitchen build-outs since 2010, and frequent them on a regular basis for smallwares. We rely on the knowledge…
Sweet Betty's has great cookies, cupcakes and cakes! Yes, their selection is limited, but their flavors change daily. (Like them on FB and you will see that their pictures of the flavors for the day.) In my opinion, their quality is so much better than going to Walmart. Like everything else, you get what you pay for. I don't mind paying $1.50-$2.00 for a treat now and again because I know that the quality is good. I have referred several of my clients to Sweet Betty's - their sweets are better than many other places in this area!
They get a lot of hype over their stroms - and they deserve everything they get because there is nothing in the world that can compare to one of their stroms - however their pizza is surprisingly fabulous too. Plus at every location besides weinbach you can eat in and have an ice cold beer. PK is a great local tradition and I highly recommend anyone in the area to try them out - coupons in the AT&T phone book if you are eating for more than 1 person!
