Tony's Pizza & Subs

This restaurant has the best Italian Food and was voted 2009 Best Pizza in Lake County!!! They have everything...Flatbread, all types of Pasta, Pizzas, Steak Rolls, Calzones,Traditional Salads and Specialty Salads, Subs, Kids Menu, and the Best Fried Pepperoni Appetizer...it Rocks! And Fried Green Beans!!! Gotta check it out! We always order a large lasagna for Christmas..M MMM GOOD !!

Stopped by on a Saturday night at 8:30, Told them we wanted to dine in, was first offered the table in front by the door, clearly there for pick up people to wait for there order to be ready.After telling staff Id like to sit at another table was then offered avery small round table in back corner, thinking that table would be to small to fit the pizza we wanted to order. It became very clear that they did not want to seat any more dine in customers at 8:30 because they close at 9:00 . So we left and after going outside and looking into the dinning room from the window I could see 6 empty tables. I will never return to Tonys pizza . We did go down the road to Pizza Hut and had a large super supreme for $!3.00 it was very good and the staff at pizza hut was great !! GO TO PIZZA HUT,,, MUCH BETTER STAFF !!!!

This place is packed at lunch, mainly because there's not much else in the area to go to for "Italian". The owner is almost always there, so if you have any issues you can talk to her. The pizza is fair to good. The garlic rolls are good, but they load on the chopped garlic so you have to pick it off if you plan on talking to anyone the rest of the day. The 44 is a Flatbread pizza with chicken, spinach, garlic, cheese and a balsamic glaze. It's good, but it's expensive!! I think its like $7-$8 and you can buy (2) frozen chicken & cheese flatbreads from Schwans for LESS and throw on a few items to doctor them up and it's as good!
