        The Town House Motel is located near historic Old Town and Downtown. The motel is very close to City Hall, the Courthouse, Waterfront Park, and restaurants. All rooms have free in room coffee, remote color TV, HBO, microwaves and refrigerators and free in room high speed internet access. Most rooms have shower only. Most of our rooms are on the second floor. We do not have an elevator. We have single guest rooms and two bedroom suites. Travelers come to the California North Coast for many reasons. For some it is the majestic redwoods, for other it is a glimpse of the Victorian seaport City of Eureka, still others for the rich cultural and historic character of the area. Whatever it is that may draw you here, the Eureka Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center staff is standing by to answer your questions and assure that your journey to the North Coast is just what you want it to be.

        This motel was SUCH a disappointment. The ONLY positive thing about the place is its owner who means well and is vigilant. After checking in the whole experience went down, down, down. Do NOT spend $88 in a room that is not well ventilated, only acceptably clean, and definitely NOT in a safe part of town as we woke up to homeless people on the near corner and a detention center across the street on the same block. I hurriedly took my dog out to "do her business" then came back in as I started to be approached by a couple of wandering, disheveled men. Though several cameras are in the garage, it is still exposed and not enclosed thus putting your car at peril in the evening though ours was untouched in the morning when we could not leave soon enough. Half the charged rate would make this comparable to similar motels. After being on the road for two weeks, the amount charged for what we got compared to other places did not come close to a good deal.
