Cajun Corner

My Wife and her Sister had a couple of simple lunches and said it was ok, So we went to dinner with friends and it was a dissatisfaction from the Waitress who would keep talking as you were trying to order, quests she wanted to go home! Then my drink came out and was FLAT and was just a Vodka Tonic / Tonic is 69 cents for a new bottle, 😯 and then they moved us after seating us and said they forgot they reserved the front table and then put us in a Booth; Then Came the Bread 🍞 and you could squeeze out a shot glass of fake butter with little pressure and the fried green tomatoes were saturated, never had FGT so screwed up and the waitress was rude. If the people that gave this place a review said it was decent, then they need to go somewhere and eat Cajun Food at a Real Real, It looked like five girls and a pot, but nobody knew how too stir. A true waste of 65 dollars and we did not even order Main Course Yet, went down the street to the Pizza place and had a couple of wines and the guys had beers 🍻,what a difference in women and staff.

We met my kids in Eufaula on Sunday at the Cajun Corner. We were celebrating her birthday and it was the only restaraunt opened so we didn't have much choice. Glad it happened that way. We had the best time and everything we ate was fantastic! We had steak dinners, seafood, pasta, and the kids meals were delightful. Our server took great care of us. We had 4 togo boxes cause the portions were so plentiful. My parents who are serious food critics and are rarely pleased, loved everything about there experience. They gave my daughter her dessert free. We will be stopping in on our way to Ft Rucker or Florida. 5 stars!

I had heard wonderful things about this place when I moved to Eufaula. I was told it was the best cajun atmosphere that I would find this side of the Mississippi and that the food was excellent.

Sadly, I was very disappointed. Other than brightly colored walls and a sad little mural to the far right there was little cajun in its decor. The "hostess" was nowhere to be found when we entered and after 15 mins she appeared and simply told us to pick a seat. The food was sub-par the crawfish had the flavor of strong fish and little seasoning at all. The pasta was cooked until it was near the texture of baby food with pieces of shrimp scattered around in it.

The waitress was efficient. She kept our glasses full and was friendly once she finally got around to us.

If I could give half a star I would. I was really disappointed. I was hoping that the little small town restaurant would prove to remind my husband of his home but instead it only served to prove that unless you are in the bayou, nothing is really cajun.
