These guys ROCK!! Super friendly & knowledgeable: staff knows their cars&parts! FREE popcorn at the door & NO fee for entry,, CLEAN bathrooms w/plenty of good hand cleaner,, I have been to all the big junkyards in Denver since wrecking my jeep recently & don't care to return to any of them: I want to go back to this yard (& have half a dozen times in the last month),, Not the greatest selection but def the best service &staff I have ever run across in this biz!,, These guys ROCK!!!
Have been going here for over 25 years. This last visit we bought a door panel and forgot a small piece to that door panel. We went back in and they charged us an extra $5 for a piece of the original part we had already purchased!
Looks like there is new ownership and I will look elsewhere to give my business to.
They want to lose 25 years of repeat customers over a $.05 cent piece of plastic?
Good riddance. Will bring this up on Tom Martino's show and expose them over this.

Provided by DexKnowsThis yard is one that I will never visit again. It's disorganized and muddy, there is little structure so you end up wandering, the prices aren't that good and most of the cars are sunk into the mud so far that it's an epic struggle just to get a wheel off. Add to that-the manager in charge that I spoke with over a problem part was just straight up rude and advised me to take my business elsewhere instead of trying to work with me after being a loyal customer for years. So I have, so has my car club and I have advised everyone who asks me where to find parts to avoid them. A classic bad business move on their part and it affected more than one potential customer. Buy a bad part at Colorado and you can expect to be treated like a jerk upon returning it.

Provided by DexKnowsFor me, this yard is quite a drive from where I live in Aurora! Yet, it too is one of my favorite salvage yards! I first became acquainted with salvage when I was aboard a salvage ship which was involved in salvage operations in Viet Nam. I have dealt with this yard over quite a few years and I like the way they do business! Everything is laid out in a logical order, General Motors cars with General Motors cars, Fords with Fords, Chrysler cars with Chrysler, foreign with foreign, cars with cars, trucks with trucks, which is much better than many yards where everything looks like it was shaken out of a salt and pepper shaker and laid out however it was processed into the yard. The people who run the place are very intelligent, very friendly and helpful, and the prices are very reasonable too! Which is why they have retained me as a customer over the past 20 or so years.
