Plantar Fasciitis
Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common causes of heel pain. It is caused by the irritation and inflammation of the large band of tissue that connects your heel bone to your toes (plantar fascia). Some symptoms include stabbing pain that usually occurs in the mornings. As you walk around on the foot the pain normally decreases, but it can return after standing for long periods of time. Heel and arch pain from plantar fasciitis over 90% of the time with appropriate treatment.
Emergency Care
I visited Dr. Lieberman with a terribly painful infected cyst. He kindly freed up the last minute appointment and immediately performed a surgery to relieve the pain and clean the infected area. He basically saved me a trip to the emergency room! I had a full recovery in a very short time. The support staff was very nice and professional and Dr. Lieberman was very kind and gregarious throughout the entire procedure. He is easily one of the best doctors I have ever visited and I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Lieberman as a podiatrist!

I am a patient of Dr. Lieberman. When my daughter was getting married, I, of course, wanted to wear my wonderful shoes that went with my mother of the bride dress. Well, a couple of weeks before the wedding I got terrible pain in the heel of my left foot. I made an appointment with Dr. Lieberman. He is my existing Podiatrist. During my visit, Dr. Lieberman used the ultrasound machine to diagnose my Plantar Fasciitis. With one visit I was cured. I was able to wear my lovely shoes for the wedding and what a wonderful day we all had. I would recommend Dr. Lieberman to all my family and friends. His office staff is also very nice and professional. PS– I also use his custom orthotics every day in my workout shoes, I walk on the treadmill every morning for my exercise.

One of the most common toenail ailments are ingrown nails. This is when the corners or sides of the curved nail digs deeply into the soft tissue nail groove, often leading to painful irritation, redness, swelling and frequent infection. The preferred treatment for recurrent ingrown nails is to permanently remove the offending border of the nail.

I was afflicted by polio as a child so have a deformed right foot. I get corns at very awkward placed (like under my twisted toenails) Dr. Lieberman has been taking care of my problem for several years now. He is so good with that and he is very careful not to ‘hurt’ me when he removes those very difficult corns. He is always so cordial and polite. It is a pleasure to go to him. Peggy and the crew are super friendly and extremely helpful in finding me an appointment when I need one in a hurry. Thank you so much for all that you do. A callus is a thickened layer of skin most commonly occurring on the heels or balls of the feet due to repeated friction and abnormal pressure when walking. Other causes may include bony prominence is, foot deformity and ill fitting shoes.
Fungus
The Pinpointe Nd/Yag laser is used to pass high power energy through the nail to the nail bed and nail growth area. At the time of the procedure, the fungus is expected to be destroyed, however no visible changes are seen until the nail begins to grow out. A more normal nail is expected to appear with complete regrowth of the nail taking up to 9-12 months.

Plantar Fasciitis
Unlike any other tissue in your body, amniotic tissue which includes the umbilical cord and amniotic membrane, has unique regenerative properties to control pain and inflammation and promote healing. Biologic factors that reduce inflammation and promote tissue growth and regenerative healing are found in highest concentrations in the umbilcal cord and are isolated and harnessed in injectable form. Dr. Lieberman performed my foot surgery 7 weeks ago; though it is too early to evaluate the long-term outcomes, I am very pleased with his practice. I had 2 appointments with him before scheduling my procedure, and he patiently answered my (many) questions and provided a thorough analysis of my foot structure and mechanics. I consulted 2 other surgeons prior to him, and never received as much information from the other physicians. Dr. Lieberman also took the time to explain the surgery/ recovery in detail. In the week after my surgery, I contacted his office twice with questions about my healing. Each time, he came to the phone to speak with me personally. I have had a smooth, pain-free recovery from what is often a painful surgery, and I credit his skill and post-operative instructions. His medical assistant, Nick, is also great and makes follow-up appointments pleasant.
