Cuong Nhu Hoa Sen Dojo

I have been in the martial arts world for many years. The teaching at Hoa Sen incorporates quality with fun. Children enjoy the classes and they become proficient in the martial art style. It is a comprehensive style so they learn to "kick and punch", take falls, throw their partners, as well as break boards. They are constantly reminded that if they do the technique correctly, they can generate more force and therefore be more confident in their ability. Respect is a big part of the teaching and they come to understand why they are studying a martial art; how it helps them in other parts of their lives. I am very happy with my son's progress there, and his potential to be a really good martial artist.

Our kids, 7 and 9, started Cuong Nhu last October and they have loved every minute of it! Seeing them move up in rank is amazing. There is a family atmosphere amongst all ranks, senseis, and parents. My kids have made some wonderful friends and so have we! Instruction is always done respectfully, safely and thoroughly. I am exceptionally happy with my kids' progress. And so are they! I recommend this dojo to all of our friends and family. And you!
