        The absolute worst ever.

        Booked Party Line Tent Rentals 3 months prior to my wedding for staging at the reception. Three days before the wedding I call them to reconfirm timing to meet at the reception location for set up, and the secretary says, "Oh.. yeah, I have a note to call you, we have to double your fee, or cancel."

        What!?

        It turns out they finally ran calculations on how far it would be (an hour from Elmsford in CT) and the distance was too much. The quoted price from three months prior did not matter, nor did the verbal contract. Here I am three days before my wedding pleading with them to set the stage up and show some business ethics, morals, or any sort of human emotion. They did not. They basically laughed at me, were NOT sympathetic in any way, and said the distance was too far... and oh well.

        They probably got a big order elsewhere in an emergency and decided to drop the little guy.

        Thank god the wedding venue is amazing, and actually had a tent company at the location sizing the room for a future wedding that had no problem putting a stage in at less than quoted by Party Line... guess what? The other tent company was from JERSEY!

        Save yourself the trouble and stress.. seriously

        Made a reservation 1 week in advance for equipment to do work on my house. they said no problem. Then the day before the equipment is supposed to be dilivered they said the machine are still rented out and they can't deliver it. I called off work to take care of this project and now useless. I will never ever depend on westchester tool rental . Thanks for nothing.

        When speaking to the salesman ...

        When speaking to the salesman on Friday for several minutes about a weekend rental and delivery he left out the most important detail of all! It was my responsibility to call them to schedule a pick up. I was given a price for the weekend and I gave a credit card. He printed a receipt and I signed. However, it wasn't a receipt, it was a lease contract. Fine print, "I have to call to schedule a pick up or they keep charging" so when Monday came and I went to work, they didn't come until I called at 3pm because my wife said the tool was still in our driveway.. They came at 6pm and billed me $100 more than I was expecting. I understand the policy, but I believe that should of been said on Friday when I paid for it!
