Johnny's Bistro On Main Street

Love it. I live out of state and when I do come to Maryland this is where my friend and I always went.

Johnny if you read your reviews I wish you the best of luck with the recent floods. My friend and I were just there Friday afternoon for our usual crab cake, bottle of wine and reserved orders of your wonderful crème bulea. Hope the spelling is correct.

Good luck with any decision you make. If you do not reopen we will miss your great restaurant and food. But understand.

Not only did we have wait over 15 minutes to be waited on but the food was also a 30 minute wait. When we did get our food, it was horrible. The bread was dried out on my sandwich and there was hair in the soup. When we got the check, it was totally different from what the menu prices were. We got the manager/owner and he said he was having trouble with rent and needed to raise the prices. Who says that to a customer when he cannot honor his own menu prices. Not only was the food horrible, so was the customer service!!! I would never recommend this pace to anybody!!!!

I went to Johnny's with some friends. It was very disappointing. There is no parking, none, nada. Then, you have to order your food at the counter (a bistro?). The food was what I would expect from a sub shop. What were advertised as paninis were what I would expect from Quiznos (at a better price). They were not pressed (thus not a panini). Nothing special. Our salads all came with what tasted like commercial salad dressings and stale greens. For food like this you're better off going to Panera for fresh salads and real paninis. And.......you can park your car without having to walk a mile!

four friends found it a very nice place to relax over lunch. nice offerings and the chili was excellent. had a creme brule for dessert that was yummy. priced very reasonable. service with a smile. will definately return.
