Woodland Manor

I had a completely different experience. The staff as well as management were wonderful. My Mother was there for over 3 years and I could not ask for better staff and the Administrator and SOcial Services was always available and open to suggestions all I had to do was ask. The survey in no way represents to care and attention I recieved from this home. In the end of life my Mother was on pureed foods and thickened liquids and neer had a problem. My Mother recieved great care and when asked I always suggest touring this place befor any other.

My mother was in this facility and i would advise doing what the title says! The nurses and therapists are amazing clinicians, but much more could be said for the administrator and the way the facility is run. I was visiting on a weekday and was told they were out of thickened liquid for my mother who has trouble swallowing and needs that, they told me they could watch her drink the water, but otherwise else she would just have to wait for thickened liquid. The food served there is horrible, I think they might be trying back in dietary, but WOW, biscuits and gravy at least 3x/wk and meat is constantly cold, and there is NO variety on the menu! Medicare has websites you can look at and see how they did on their survey( which they did 2 out of 5) stars here. Please do your research on the facility if you decide your loved one is needing a skilled nursing facility.
