Barrington Oaks Veterinary Hospital

Can I give a negative 1000 rating please? Brought our beloved dying, suffering dog Lucy there to be put to rest and were turned away being told we needed an appointment. Every other vet I have ever gone to has prioritized emergencies. I, myself, have had apointments delayed because the doc took an emergency and I was always content to wait because I would have wanted to be shown such conpassion. These people shohld be ashamed of themselves. They obviously don't care about animals suffering. They wouldn't even check her pulse so we had to race to another vet making the laat moments of this sweet girl's life highly stressful and painful. These people are heartless and do not deserve your business.

Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this terrible vet. They will order tests that are not needed, tell you shots expire when they don't, charge you 6x what other vets charge for the same thing and totally blow off your pet during an exam. They have no true concern for pets yet their interest is in your wallet!

Special thanks to the doctors at Barrington Oaks for helping manage my cat's chronic and serious allergies. They exceed at helping with the animals I have rescued with multiple and chronic diseases. They are very compassionate and their support staff is fantastic.

I can't say enough good things about Barrington Oaks and the staff and the care my older cat has recieved. My cat has Irritable Bowel disease and is a tough patient to manage and Dr. Kim Gallenberg has not only kept him going long past when I thought we could, but kept him happy and comfortable. She's been extremely kind to me in explaining why he does some of the things he does and what it all means. I drive from Lakeville to Elk River because they are a clinic I feel I can trust. They will be taking care of all my future pets as well. I have referred friends there as well and they were very happy with the care they recieved as well.

I cant rave enough on the compassion and care this veterinary hospital has to offer. The Vets and staff are always so helpful and nice. They care so much about all animals and it shows.Their prices are competitive and reasonable. Im happy to call them my Vet clinic and would recommend them to any other pet owner.
