Johnnie's Grill

My husband loves their coneys,says the slaw is always fresh & ten times better than Johnnies Grill in Calumet. They serve onion fried burgers as well. Burgers are small but tasty. No credit or debit cards accepted for payment.

I ordered a salad and all that cam on the plate was some shredded lettuce and some shredded cheese. My chicken fried steak was hard as a rock and the meat was the strangest grey color I have ever seen. A couple of my friends ordered the supposed famous burger. They couldnt even get past the first bite. The onions on their burgers were burnt to a crisp. Besides the terrible food the service was horrible. Thebwaitress asked if we were ready to order three times, I kept having to tell her I was waiting for my husband. We kept getting dirty looks and no responses to our thank yous. I will never go back. I honestly dont suggest anyone going in there either. Ill be suprised if they can stay open for much longer considering the disgusting old food and rude staff.
