Tortas Nico is one of the most popular torta chains in Juarez and now you can get them in El Paso without risking death! Too soon? Oddly enough you don't see many torta restaurants in El Paso, for those of you wondering what a torta is, please look it up. Anyway, because there's not many dedicated places its a harder item to compare than something like burritos or tacos. It was nice taking a drive down memory lane with a colita de pavo torta, which was yummy, I also like the Mexican-style fries, which if you follow my reviews, the way you should, you would know are fries that are not fried to a crisp. Parking is a pain because they're repaving the lot or something, but don't let that deter you. Bottom Line: A-OK!
My name is Tiffany I live in Austin, TX. My husband is a congressman at the Capitol .. I was visiting El Paso and we were at Sunland Park Mall. As I was going up the escalator my shoe got stuck, the rubber bottom of my heel came off!! Which made very upset because these were Christian Louboutin! I asked one of the mall employees if there was a shoe repair shop and he told me to take it to The Shoe Doctor and in 5 minutes my shoes were fixed and even polished! This was great service, I was ready to put a complaint against the mall for the stair malfunction, but The Shoe Doctor saved my day! I think this service should be offered in every mall. Take your shoes here, you will not be disappointed.
I have been looking all over El Paso for a shop that could fix up my shoes. And incredible but Shoe Doctor had been at Sunland Park for many years and had never really seen it. This is the place to have my shoes repaired, I needed new soles, the heels were all scratched and looked very bad. Mr. Navarro the owner gave me the best customer service, attentive, and even stitched the handles of my purse that were coming off at no charge ! Three days later my shoes were better than new ! Prices are reasonable and the service superb ! I highly recommend the Shoe Doctor.
