During my search for an attorney I received a flyer from The Law Offices of Ruben Ortiz and like most folks I was worried about how this case would affect my job and my financials, how does one fight for there innocence? I consulted for free and was given a fair price with payment plan so I went ahead and hired. I was not sorry that I did because this attorney fought in court and demanded my innocence. He fought with the DA so hard that he got my criminal case dismissed. It was a pleasure to see this man in action. I thank Mr.Ortiz and his staff for defending me and working with me. Mr Ortiz neglected to show up to court…
Mr Ortiz neglected to show up to court to represent my traffic citation, it turned into a warrant, and even had to pay a warrant fee. The reason I retained him, is because I dont have time to deal with it, and I had to literrally call on a daily basis to get it corrected. It was nothing but a hassle, they stated it was my responsibily to be calling them to make sure they showed up to court.

Got arrested for ALLEGED abuse of my family, by a third party outside my family, and had to fight tooth and nail to keep from losing everything. ruben Ortiz was a good call to make, who showed everyone in court just how dumb the whole claim really was. Convinced the judge that the person who called the cops was just trying to hurt me, my wife, and my kids, and apologized for the inconvenience. Wouldn't hav happened without you Ruben. Thanks.

I was arrested for a DWI, over 2 years ago. I hired Mr. Ortiz after a police officer/family friend recommended him, saying he was the best lawyer for DWIs, and that he's always beating the police on those cases.
We met face to face a week later, and I hired him on the spot. He fought my case in court, and won it by proving to the judge that the police officer had pulled me over illegally :)
Took about two years, but the case was dismissed. Thank you, Mr. Ortiz, for saving me from a DWI!!!!! -

Ruben Ortiz is the Best. He helped my dad with a federal case,he was facing to be deported since he is a resident he never gave up on him he was always polite, listen to our concerns and he explain everything easy to understand. We were going thru some hard financial problems and he got us in a payment plan that we could afford. My dad's case got dismissed in about 6 months I'm very great full that we hired him I believed it was God's hand that pointed us to him and to hired him. I had a case for my divorce started last year around spring break... A friend recomended me to the offices of Ruben Ortiz... I gave him the info and started the paperwork... There was a delay in the system with the judge that was taking care of my case and the staff was changed at the same time which caused a delay... i was honestly very upset and frustrated becuase i wasnt adviced of any type of status for my case... Everything in the office went back to normal, he personaly called me on Dec to start taking care of my case and ruby his secretary too. The court was done Jan and he gave me the copy to finish off with everything and due to the delay and the inconvinience he gave me a total refund for my case and ony deducted the court fees. It did take longer than expected but he worked for that customer satisfaction and helped me with my case. Thank you.

I Want to thank my attorney Mr. Ruben Ortiz For His Excellent work in handling my D.W.I. case. Mr. Ortiz went beyond giving a hundred percent in my case. Mr. Ortiz took my case in a heart beat re-assuring me that I was a accused of a Driving While Intoxicated not that I was guilty because I had been arrested. We decided to stand by by inocense and go through all legal procedures. In all court appearances he was there with me letting me know that everything was under control. For two years we fought this case and he was there all the time even on holidays he provided me with his cell phone number and even his house number, if I had any questions or concerns. Now my case has been dismissed and I owe it all to Mr. Ortiz and his excellent staff in providing me with my D.W.I. defence that I needed to prove that I was inocent. I highly Recomend Mr. Ortiz for any legal matters.

Best Defensive Attorney!
When I first got arrested for possession of THC, I thought that there was no way out of this case against me. I thought for sure I was going to be convicted. I hired Mr. Ruben Ortiz because I had heard he was the best lawyer in El Paso. I met with him numerous times at his office, by the way he sees clients every day! Criminal Case: Aggrevated Assult ! Dismissed!! Thank You!
In 2008, I was accused on criminal charges; Aggrevated Assult, and had a probation violation. I had no where to turn. Remembering an old friends in counter with the law, I decieded to give her a call. She immidiately recommended Rubern Ortiz! So gave him a call , made an appointment. I explained my situation , he immidiately went to work. I was looking at 2-10 years on felony charges! He got my case dismissed!!! Thanks Ruben!! In Aug 07 2010 i was arrested unjustly, I called my friend the next day i asked her to recommend me a good lawyer because she works for the court, She mentioned Ruben Ortiz then I called another friend who is a police and he recommended Mr. Ortiz also. I went to his office and explained my case. He was really understanding, made me feel confortable and very helpful on giving advice. We met for my first court on Aug 30th and I saw how he was talking with the people on court about my case, how he made my case his case, then my second court was on Sep 29th when he gave me the good news that my case was dismissed.. In 2008, I was accused and arrested for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. I immediatly went to see my Attorney Ruben Ortiz. I went to his office and met with him, explained my situation and of course recieved a reasonable quote. I have always had confidence in him. He has even had some of my Traffic Tickets DISMISSED! My case was finally DISMISSED after two years 2010. During that time I had no doubt that he would take care of me and get me the best outcome. He has always been there for me.
