Fantastic experience top to bottom! My gf and I visited from out of town and saw this eatery on Yp and gave it a try. The Manhattan and the wine selection is impressive. The Chef and owner hails from Calabria in the most southern part of Italy where he learned his artisan trade of cooking. With over 20 years of experience and 12 right here in El Paso chef Cosimo Battaglia is sure to create a feast for your pleasure. Angus riserve aged 21 days tenderloin topped with a bourbon whiskey gorgonzola demi-glaze served with grilled asparagus and a portabello mushroom potato cake and then topped with a pan seared lobstertail thats been saute' with white wine herb and butter sauce. Home made lobster ravioli in a safron cream sauce, home made gnocchi in a pesto sweet gorgonzola cream sauce, fresh salmon filet topped with a lemon white wine caper sauce, angus riserve tenderloin aged 21 days, steaks are cut off the loin when ordered, seafood is flown in fresh on dry ice and hand cut by the chef and owner Cosimo Battaglia.

Mi Piaci, has the best italian food in el paso. The chef is the owner his name is cosimo and he is from calabria italy. The seafood is flown in fresh and the steaks are cut off the loin to order. I was at this eatery last weekend. What a disapointment. The food was served cold and we had to remind our waiter for drinks and bread often. He acted like we were bothering him. By the way, all the items on menu are expensive and everything is sold seperately. You'd think for the prices, you'd get world-class food. It was mediocre.
