I, myself, am an Elite Dancer. I joined 5 years ago and boy was I thrilled. I had stopped dancing in 2nd grade and then rejoined when I was in 3rd. Ms. Pati brings joy to every class as she is a great dancer, instructor, and teacher. She laughs, not at us, but with us. She makes us work very hard, but for our own good. She does everyhting for us, not for her advantage. She makes us laugh and picks great songs. She doesn't discriminate against anyone because of anything. Ms. Pati plays along with our games, such as the new &quot;sign language&quot; we made up. She gives us time to play our 'games' but makes sure we do our best. She will go to any level to make us happy and please the parents. She is an amazing dance teacher, and i wouldn't ask for anything better. I have enjoyed every minute of going to dance and never regret joining. I wouldn't switch to any other dance academy because Elite is the best anyone in El Paso, or anywhere, can ever ask for. I wouldn't leave Elite even if the world depended on it. I couldnt't ask for anything more. Ms. Pati has great prices, great education, and great students. She goes through anything to make us happy. She is the most wonderful dance teacher ever as she is kind, smart, sweet, funny, and she cares more about the students than herself. Ms. Pati accepts each and every kid into her arms like they are her own children. She wouldn't get rid of any of us if she had the chance. She makes each and every day worth while. We make friends at Elite to as Ms. Pati amkes sure everyone treats each other well and watches out for each other. Thanks to Elite, I am able to dance better than I ever could. I am also able to do things that I never thought I could. Ms. Pati also makes sure each students recieves the amount of confidence they need. She makes sure no one rises above the rest. If you are looking for a professional dance studio in El Paso, i would recommend Elite to anyone looking for fun, hard work, nice teacher, etc. I would reccommend Elite to any and everyone looking for the best dance teacher and studio ever!
I have been dancing at Elite for 10 years and have nothing but positives to say about this studio, Ms. Pati, Mrs. Lara. Many of these negative reviews who may say they have not seen professionalism and they have been treated negatively are mostly first year or second year parents. Take an opinion from the parents who have been there the longest because they will know the true story and how Ms. Pati does her best to get to know each student personally. If a parent is unhappy with how they are treated why should the child suffer from it. All of the girls and boys i have spoken to absolutely love to come to class and look forward to it every week. An hour long class every week is enough for a young child because they also have to practice at home. It is the parents fault if they get put in the back because they don't cooperate with their child to practice. I have never heard a girl in any classes complain that the classes were too packed. Ms. Pati limits the number of students per class and if your son/ daughter was lucky to be selected to stay in that class you should be grateful. As to the recital, if you cannot spend a Saturday night to watch some very talented boys and girls and to encourage them to do what they love then dance recitals are not the place for you and you should not have gone. If people decide to leave then that shows the type of etiquette and respect they have for the girls and boys of the academy. One of the main reasons as to not let parents videotape and take photos would be very clear if you were in the shoes of one of the dancers. Having flashes and people at the foot of the stage with a camera distracts the dancers and would overall not help with the quality of the show. As for customers looking for academies to send their children to, look at the reviews of the parents and dancers who have been with the academy for the longest time because they have the true story of how Ms. Pati, Mrs. Lara, and the studio are run.
We've been with elite for the last 10 years and every year it gets better. I read the previous reviews and have seen so many stage moms over the years wanting their 5 year olds to be the star of the show! Yes the classes are packed because it is an incredible and fun dance studio for the dancers and the art. The kids have a blast and the end of the year recital has so many classes to perform it has grown to 3 hours. What kind of parent makes plans on the night of their childs recital? If you want to enroll your child please talk to other parents that have their kids enrolled and dont believe the negative reviews on this page. Dance is an art, that involves dedication to the art and if you are a dancer you must practice to perfect your skills not just depend on just the classes. Miss Lara has always been professional and is dedicated to the students. It must be difficult to deal with 50+ sets of parents asking why their kids are not in the front when they did not make sure their kids practiced at home or even get their child to dance class half the year. All I see is a bunch of happy children having fun and learning the art of dance. The recitals are packed with proud family members and the dancers smiling on stage having a great time. You see how proud these talented children are when they come out after the show beaming with excitement after all the hard work they put in over the year. I truely feel sorry for some of those kids with the stage moms putting them down and rushing them out of the once a year recital because they have plans. I am a working mom and I manage to get my child to class all year and the day of the recital I dedicate that time to my child.
