I was visiting from Austin and came up on this shop. I like to do my own bike maintenance so I went into the shop looking for some brake and derailleur cables, an upgraded 9 speed cassette and chain up from 8 speed and a new saddle for my mountain bike. I know bikes, and it doesn't matter how much one knows, it seems that bike mechanics always want to show you up. Not the case here. I spoke with Chuck and we talked about all sorts of bike stuff and I always felt like he was enthusiastcally listening to what I was saying. Great customer service and extremely knowledgeable. I even bought a vintage Bianchi while I was there for good measure. As a matter of fact, a gentleman walked in asking for some bikes in the $150 range. Had that been my shop I would have taken it as an insult. Chuck however, was very professional and even directed the gentleman to somewhere where he may find a bike in his budget. Can't say enough good things about this shop.
