I went there for a simple diagnostic test; which cost a flat $25; a charge I feel is reasonable.
As soon as I came through the front door, I was signed in for an appointment and brought to the back where I was allowed to observe the testing procedure. Although I can't agree this was a professional action per say, it was a nice touch to be able to see what the technician (Joel) was doing to my computer. It was reminicent of being able to stay with my kid when they went to see the doctor (if I had one). I'm not sure if this is allowed for anyone else, considering I know what I'm doing and had called ahead.
After a few simple tests, he determined the problem and I was back in time for work (I went in on my lunchbreak). I have every confidence any other problem I may have had on my computer would have been fixed in a timely and professional manner. Their facilities seem much better organized and staffed than Prairie Tech (a local competitor), which I've done business with before with some questionable results. The only problem I feel Saso has is the fact I had never heard of them till after I was referred to them by Radioshack. I've been looking for a 'solid' tech shop in town for a few years now, and they're definitely it.
