Rainbow RV Resort

Went there about two years ago and what I would like to stress is that the "resort" is different from what is on the website. I was tent camping so this information will be from that point of view. The website said that they have "tent sites" what really is the case is that it is just a bare lawn with no identifiable spots to choose from. There was no shade from the tiny trees near the grass so we were roasting. The area where the RV's are is right next to the camping "lawn" so there is no privacy at all. The water they provide for the camping area is just a hose. The RV section feels, looks and sounds like a trailer park with some of the RV's being "permanent" to the campground. People were loud, obnoxious and obviously drinking in the RV section which gave it a feel of being right next door to a dive bar. The showers and bathroom were really old and gross and the shower "door" was just a curtain which was too short and barely stayed closed. At least on the men's side. The employees however were friendly and the lake is pretty. It's just a shame the rest of it was disappointing.

great fishing,my brother and i caught lots of trout. and also did a number on some brown catfish. Good times as allways. Good food, Dave the owner even brought out some grubben halibut, to go with our hamberger. Great dock to fish from, and good boats to rent. Cant wait to get back. The Wells family
