I visited the wine bistro for the first time on last night. I was in town visiting a colleague and we decided to take a "looksie". The crowd was diverse (which is important for me being that I am from a diverse city), the drinks were not "watered down" and go figure I was able to eat a wonderful meal as well. The prices were affordable for the portions and the ambiance was fantastic!! I will be back for Mardi Gras and I will make it a point to visit The Wine Bistro.

This is easily the best restaurant in this fabulous city of great places to eat. The chef, Bob Iccavone who just appeared on Iron Chef, is extremely talented. He marries eclectic ingredients that make your mouth think it has died and gone to heaven. The wine list is superb. They do not offer any wine that can be bought in a grocery store. If you have a sophisticated palette, this is the place to go to. It is a dining experience that won't be forgotten.
We had eaten here regularly for breakfast until about a year ago. My favorite was corned beef hash with eggs. Prices went up and the portion of corned beef got smaller. Parking was sometimes a problem also. We go elsewhere now. Like Tick-Tock Diner - MUCH larger portion of corn beef hash at MUCH better price and very consistant food quality.
