Several months ago I went into Ermin's and ordered a coffee and dessert. When I went to pay I realized I had left my debit card at home. I was embarassed and the cashier looked a little unsure of what to do but the owner was near by and came over. She was very friendly and said "Don't worry. Just pay the next time you're in." Well I love the food but her kind attitude is what has brought me back there many times. I love the Old Louisville environment too. They do have a few quirky characters who work there (and patronize them) . Actually, I'm probably onr of them. Anyway it's a quaint place with local color and a very sweet owner.

I would highly recommend Ms. Veronica as your next cake lady! She did my wedding cake and it was absolutely beautiful!! I provided her with two pictures of cakes, one had the design I liked and the other had the shape and setup I wanted. She merged the two and the cake was perfect!! She also did the Groom's cake and it was of a cardinal bird with a basketball under his foot and it turned out absolutely wonderful as well! Not only did everything look wonderful but it tasted just as good as it looked. Not a big fan of chocolate cake but I'll eat Ms. Veronica's chocolate cake any day of the week. Thanks Ms. Veronica!!
I am writing on behalf of Zelkova Strategic Partners, LLC. It is time for our first annual Donut Day, and we wanted to have a competition to decide which local bakery had THE BEST DONUT. After indulging in a smorgasbord of pastries for two days, the ballots were counted and the results were in. Bussmann's Bakery won by a landslide!! Common praises were: the donuts were fluffy, not too greasy, well balanced sweet, and just overall a very delicious donut.
