Our vintage van was retrofitted to use the newer 134a coolant at a shop in Seattle. (Interesting that the review below is also for a vintage vehicle!) A Goodyear mechanic did a Mickey Mouse fix on the rear air a few years ago, and this "fix" stopped working. Our local mechanic said he couldn't figure out what was going on and that no one had parts that would fit. Although B&M is a bit far, his shop specializes in radiators and A/C and he has excellent reviews on line, so I told my husband that I wanted to give Grant's shop a try. I was really surprised to receive a call this morning that Grant could fix the A/C. He diagnosed the problem and we can pick up the van this afternoon. Grant is an honest gentleman. He said exactly what needs to be done and quoted a fair price upfront. I am very impressed by his knowledge and professionalism and would highly recommend him.
These guys went above and beyond to get me back on the road (I'm an old woman) same day. The magazines are good, the seating comfortable, the restroom clean, and the diagnosis fast. The mechanic was competent, the price was more than fair - and the repair solid. I have used this shop on and off for years, and my only complaint (four stars vs. five) is that I like my car to be as clean inside when I get it back - as when I drove in. Last few visits have been major improvements -- I'm seeing 5 stars in their near future! It's hard to find a shop to trust - but this is it!
these guys talk a lot but really slow on work. Keep me waiting for 2 hours for changing just 1tire. But John is really honest about the tire issue. He did not try to sell all 4 ties to me like all other tire shops usually do. Fremont Les Schwab did that to me. The guy there want me to change all tires for $600+, even my other 3 tires are like 90% new. John from Skip checked my tires' condition and told me i only need to change one wore out tire. For this reason, i give them a 4 star.
