I was given a price of what I wanted done, and saved for two months to finally get my hair color done right. I was so excited! I finally came in; full of high hopes, only to be crushed. I showed the picture to her that was shown when I was first given the quote. Nothing had changed. But by the end of the first round, my color was not dark like the picture showed and no pretty highlights showing through yet. So, she did it again. And this time, it was a lot darker like it needed to be, but no highlights like the picture. I was sad, but not giving up hope, she mentioned that she could make my hair finally look like the picture. BUT! It was going to cost me money. And she reminded me how nice she was about not charging me to fix her mistake by doing another process after the first round. I just don't understand why I have to pay for a hair stylist's mistake. Period. I was told I was given a price break in the first place, but I would have gladly paid the price necessary to get it right the first time. I could have used that two months of saving the money I needed instead of wasting it on something less than I planned. I am also in the business of customer service, and when you make a mistake, it's not right to make someone else pay for it. There have been several times I have gone above and beyond to make someone happy, and in any area of expertise, it should be a necessity of running a business.
