i used to be a Pub regular but I'm done. Last night I went to get a burger because they can cook them to order. Ordered it medium three times. Three times got a well done burger served. Really disappointed that in an hour and a half I couldn't get my dinner and *nothing* was done to make it up to me except ""we'll take it off your bill."" Of course you will since I never got what I ordered. When the waitress brought the receipt, the check clearly indicated that she had written down ""well"", thus why the kitchen staff kept screwing it up. The owner was there and everything, and didn't seem to care beyond finally suggesting (long after my dinner companion had finished his meal of course) that I ""order a sandwich."" Everyone has off nights, but screwing up in the exact same way THREE TIMES and not doing anything to compensate for it, not even actually being SORRY about it, especially for someone who eats there on average twice a week, is just crappy. Undermines one of the points of being a regular somewhere if you still get crappy service from wait staff to management.
