American Craftsmen did such a good job on my roof and gutters that I had them come back to do my siding. My house now looks better that it did when it was first built. Steve and Barry always went the extra mile to assure that I was satisfied.

I just had gutters installed on my home. They did a great job with the gutters and clean up. Only had one small problem and they came right back out the next day to fix it. Very happy with my new gutters. They also contracted out for some wood repair work on my porch. The men who came to do that repair did a great job with the work, although I was not pleased with the smoking and cussing while they were working, especially since I have small children around who could hear them.

This is a great company to get to put a roof on your house. The workmanship is great and they clean up so well that you would never know that they had been there. We would highly recommend getting them to do the job for you.

I highly recommend American Craftsmen. They just installed a new roof on my house and it looks incredible. Rodney came out and met with us, just like the previous companies I had received quotes from, but what really struck me was his honesty, and his pride in his company's work. These are people that really care about doing a good job. My roof was completed in less than a day, with a new ridge vent installed and new chimney flashing, etc. Rodney even met a competitor's lower bid. The crew that installed the roof did an excellent job picking up the shingles and nails that were removed from the old roof. (My yard actually looked better after they were done than it had the day before as they picked up leaves and other debris along the way.) Several of my neighbors have been outside admiring their work already and have gotten their contact info. Their reputation is well merited! I'm so glad that I chose to go with American Craftsmen. I would definitely use them again in the future for other home improvement projects. I feel that we have gotten a high quality roof, for a great price. Also, if you call and leave a message, someone always calls you back. Very professional, no run-around here.

Great, prompt, reliable and professional service. It's headed up by folks who recognize that they can differentiate themselves from the rest of home maintenance and repair shops by doing things like showing up on time, calling you back, pricing things fairly and up front, and actually doing quality work that they stand behind. What a concept, right?

I recently had my roof replaced by American Craftsman. The owner came to my house and educated me about roofing, helping me make an informed decision. He was able to schedule the work very quickly, and his team completed the roof in one day. (I have to add that I have what they call a "simple" roof - no dormers, etc.)



I was really impressed that the owner was concerned about making sure the delivered shingles would not interfere with traffic around my house or driveway. And, unlike other roofers I interviewed, he had a genuine concern and appreciation for his crew. He actually knew who would be doing the work and could vouch for their professionalism. (Other companies said they used subcontractors - and they could not tell me which one would be assigned the work.)



When I came home I had to look twice. Although I could see the roof was new, I couldn't believe how clean my yard looked. I had a previous experience with a roofer at a home I rented, and I expected to see stray old shingles and nails. But two weeks later I have yet to find a nail.



The price was very reasonable, and the materials lokos great.



I would definitely use American Craftsmen again, and I woud recommend them highly to anyone who needs a new roof.

I first hired American Craftsmen to replace an aging roof on my 1965 ranch. Due to their speed, value, and service, I then came back to them to replace my old single-pane windows with newer, energy efficient models. The quality of work on both jobs has been exceptional, the prices have been competitive, and the service has been great. Even when a few things didn't go according to plan, Rodney and team surpassed expectations, corrected any issues, and produced a great final product on budget. After working with these guys, I'll be hesitant to work with any other contractors in the future. Dealing with home repairs is generally a pane - Rodney, Barry, and company made it a pleasure. I'm looking forward to working with them more in the future!

We used American Craftsmen of NC to replace our 25+ year old roof that was leaking in several places, and we could not be happier with the results. We were so happy with the roof that we went ahead and had them replace the gutters and install gutter guards as well, and have been very pleased with those also. Rodney and his crew installed custom Velv-A-Lume storm windows on all the windows on our 1921 bungalow. They are a beautiful and very energy efficient product. Rodney was great to work with. We had concerns about the fit of a couple of the windows. His crew quickly resolved the problem and went the extra mile to recaulk all of the other windows. Great communication & service! From the consultation to the final quality assurance check when the job was complete, this company worked with me honestly and openly. There were no surprises, no dissappointments and excellent quality work. The owner was always available to take my calls and his manner polite, committed and never gave me excuses. When the windows were installed the workers were very thorough, clean and fast. I highly recommend this company to anyone who wants to be treated honestly and with respect.

Our home was built in the late 80's with masonite siding, drafty windows and low grade shingles. We decided to have the siding, windows, roof and gutters replaced. We contacted 3 companies to get estimates.



Rodney set up a time to meet with me and my husband. He went over all the products and answered all of our questions. We decided to hire American Craftsmen because of their service, products and years of experience of the installers.



I liked the idea that the installers specialized in what they did. I also liked that they only 1 roof crew, 1 window crew and 1 gutter crew. Unlike the 2 larger companies the sales person could not tell who would be working on our home.



Everything went great and the only small problem that come up Rodney took care of it right away. I like too that we did not pay any money until the entire job was complete.
