Bryan County Animal Hospital

This is the best Animal Hospital we have ever been to! They have treated all four of our dogs and our 5 cats with respect and excellent care! They spade/neutered our youngest 2 dogs and neither of them had any problems when they got home! Their prices are half of what we paid in McKinney!

I took my beloved dog to these guys when she was sick. The vets have no personalities. They don't listen to you when you talk to them. They act very curt and impersonal. After barely examining her, he diagnosed my dog with a respiratory infection, and put her on antibiotics for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, she was still sick. He asked me if she had improved at all. I said no. He raised his voice and asked again "No improvement?" Then he asked me how much I'm willing to spend. I emphatically told him "I want to know what is wrong with me dog!" Then they ran some blood test and came back and told me she had tick fever, and again we went through a 3 week course of medications for that. Still no improvement. I took her back again. Don't ask me why though. By this time she had a big lump in her abdomen which I pointed out to him. He felt of it and tells me she has inoperable cancer. This wold time, every visit, he treated me as if he was positive I didn't want to, or couldn't afford to give my dog the proper care, and that they were very busy and needed to get them in, and get them out as fast as possible. The vets show no compassion at all. I had to take my dog back in to be euthanized. I paid them $100 for that and to return her ashes to me, and when I picked them up, they were in a little white box. That's it. No urn. To top it off, they couldn't even get my dog's name right on the box after all the treatments they had given her and all the records they had.I have another dog, and I will NOT be taking her to these guys.

My dog was mauled by several dogs and almost lifeless. Dr. Freida and her staff were kind and caring and he is up and running as if nothing had happened

The 2 vets that generally work the front for non surgical, are terrible. Almost lost my dog due to being spoken down to and not listened to. Unfortunately, both Dr. Wells don't see animals much, just the 2 worthless ones. Wont be going back there. If I could give a "no stars" rating...I would. If you dog is really sick, or injured, don't go here.

I had my cat out there today they took a tumor out of his foot he has only woke up one time and now he is just about lifeless will not wake up and I don't have a way to take him to Denison so if you can if somebody sees this please read this I'm very dissatisfied and you have my email address

These folks are wonderful. They take great care with your pets and don't push services you don't need

Slaughterhouse killed my two dogs. Took one in and it got sick and killed both my dogs. Had a different vet look at one before she was put down. They couldn't figure out what she had.

These people abuse your animals , I took my dauschund I. For his shots and nail trimming they held hike down on his back and put thumbs over my dogs throat until his tongue and nose started to turn blue. Today his eyes are bloodshot red from all the stress . They refused to muzzle my dog after Frieda came in I with a muzzle to put on him . She herself even said they should have muzzled him but did not .. I will NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN...

I used Dr Freda for years and she is great. Up the road was Randal Wells Clinic and also used Randals Clinic. I moved away for a number of years and had experience or 2 with other Vet's but never found individuals as caring as Randal and Dr Freda. He really was great also. I don't know for sure, but I think the now have combined the 2 Clinic. If this is so then we have the best of both worlds.

I love Bryan County. They are always very helpful and friendly. They obviously care very much about the animals they treat, and their prices are far better than any I have ever found.

Dr. Friede Wells' and her associates collectively represent the finest, most compassionate veterinarians in the world. Only with a vet as honest and caring as Friede would I be able to afford to continue to rescue animals and have their medical needs met. Dr. Friede (and everyone else in the office) are the literal personification of the term animal lovers. Never one to use scare tactics to justify the cost of animal care, this office makes it easily affordable for everyone to insure the highest levels of health and comfort of their animals, both large and small. This is why her patients come from hundreds of miles around - this is why she has such a devoted and loyal fan base - this is why anyone can afford to take proper care of their animals. Dr. Friede and her staff are the finest people I have ever had the privilege of knowing.

this is the best vet around. i dont use any other vet. trust me they will take the very best care of your animal

This place may seem out of the way, but Friede is wonderful with small animals and her entire staff shows genuine interest and concern. It's walk-in only, so no appointments, but generally the wait is short. :)

Freda Wells is a wonderful, caring, and devoted veterinarian. She is very gentle with my cat Elsa and Elsa can sense she is trying to help her. Thank you to the caring staff at Bryan County Animal Hospital.
