I love Dr. Frieda! Everyone I know takes their pets to her, and I always have as well. She has reasonable prices, because she cares about the animals and not about the money. She saved my dog from parvo a few years back. I would not take my animals to anyone else!
Over the years my family has always taken our pets here. They saved my dog from parvo after another vet misdiagnosed it and said it was nothing. They have been great with my other dog with his heart worm treatment. Also we've taken our goats up there and they are excellent with them. As a matter of fact we just got us a little puppy and I will be taking him up there tomorrow or next week. Very nice friendly staff! Love this place!
The one thing that they did a good job on is killing my pygmy goat. They banded him too high and then misdiagnosed his urinary issues as constipation and then said they couldn't help us as our 6 month old pet died. They knew he was dying didn't tell us and did nothing. They told us to take him to osu. That is about 4 hours away. Please do not take your pets here. We managed to get him to a great vet in honeygrove that had to cancel all their appointments and as he was laid on the table his bladder burst killing him. to the vets at that really pet hospital thank you for your efforts. As to bryan country house of killing your pets. I wish nothing but karma on you.
When I first moved to Durant in 1995 my little poodle got parvo. I was 21 w/two babies and NO extra money. I asked around and everyone said go to Frieda DVM. So I took my wedding ring and graduation ring to her to see if she would treat my puppy on trade. She smiled and said keep your rings and folded them back in to my hand. She took my baby right to the back and started an IV. My Cindy lived and Mrs Frieda let me pay it out. Also all the times I've been in there since, they only charge me for the meds and not being seen. She is great & has a good disposition.
