        Mariah's work as a scenic artist at playhouses in Indiana and Maine developed her skill for artistic detail. Durango Custom Works, a collaboration with her husband, allowed Mariah the opportunity to apply her scenic experience to private residences, businesses and restaurants. Her decorative painting, faux finishes, and murals transform nondescript walls into portals to another space or time. A member of the Portrait Society of America and an internationally recognized master oil painter, Mariah's portraits are her most riveting and compelling works. She has studied with modern day masters and continues to hone her skills with workshops in classical oil portrait training. Children's portraits are particularly close to her heart. "Iam fascinated by the innocence and joy in children. Their clear, open eyes take in everything around them."

        Mariah's work is exceptional!!...

        Mariah's work is exceptional!! The Pet Portraits that she did of her dog Aldo, looks exactly like him. Her children's portraits are beautiful and perfectly capture the wonder and innocence of the child or children that she is painting and her murals are absolutely breathtaking! Mariah Kaminsky is definitely the person you want to see if you need any fine artwork done!!
