BEWARE! These guys are crooks and liars. They assumed because I was passing through town they could frighten me with dire predictions of my tires blowing out and scare me over the phone into authorizing a 2-day $350 repair job. I have many years of auto repair experience so knew their story was pure BS. Returned to home town garage and had trusted mechanic confirm my own diagnosis, charging me $75 and taking 45 minutes to complete the work. I hate these opportunist shysters who prey on unsuspecting victims, and probably succeed more often than not. Spread the word.

I try to shop local when I can and that s why I prefer JP Tire in Durango, CO! Sam and his staff always go above and beyond to try and help me with anything Tire/wheel related. I call for quotes or stop by and they will try and get answers quickly and are always trying to be competitive with their pricing!

If you like getting shafted this is one of the best. These people have no business ecthics what so ever. Customer service is non-existant and they put themselves above you, the customer. You are not important . Don't ask for an estimate unless you like surprises, for whatever you are getting an estimate for, will be done to your vehicle without your approval, and then you will be called a liar if you protest it. If you do business with JP Tire bring the police along. You will need them. As the saying goes, 'a fool and his money are soon parted.' Don't be a fool by doing business there. Get everything in writing. And don't wait for them to 'call you back' or 'call when your car is ready.' That won't happen either especially if you deal with "Sam".
