Cut N Dry Grooming

Made an appointment a day before the groom. Got there on time and the place was closed. I waited for 20 minutes and still nobody showed up. I need up wasting my gas and my TIME. They had a call back number a phone call would have been nice. When I got home an hour later, I called to ask what was going on and no answer at the shop. I will not be doing business with these folks at all.

I have two little schnauzers that they have been cutting for several years I have never had a problem nor have I seen anything like some have described below my tow little guys are my babies and would never take them anywhere that i even though any harm could come to them ignore these rambling below these are nice people that do a good job cutting my dogs

Never trust your beloved pet with these people. I took my 2 pound tea cup yorkie to them to cut his hair and trim his nails, it cost me $30 in which I gave them a big tip before I realized that they had hurt my dog. After I got my dog home he started acting different, nipping at everyone and not wanting to be held. Well, I was looking at his foot and he had a big scab forming. I called the grooming place and asked them what happened and they assured me nothing happened there, ( we had just taken him to his vet on the Thursday before his app on Sat at the groomers) I took him to his vet and in all reality what they did, is tore his dew claw off while shaving him. He ended up being on antibiotics and pain meds for a week and two dr. appointments. We have to keep an eye on his foot so it doesn't get infected again. I would never take another animal to them.

So here's the deal...

If you're someone who needs their dog to get a quick cut and you don't truly care about the quality, staff or environment that the dog is in take it here. Average you'll pay 35 dollars maybe 40 for a tip.

However if you're someone who cares about your canine...do not take them here. I've only taken my dog to Cut N Dry for about 2 times. Yes the price is affordable but I wasn't impressed by anything. The inside needs to be remodeled so that it's more inviting to the customer and to the canine, right now it looks like it's rundown. Second, I'm a really big stickler to whether my groomer's put bows or ties on my dog. I stood in front of the lady and said absolutely no bows and yet when I returned to get my dog, a shiny bow was placed on top of his head. How is a customer to know that the staff is going to do exactly what they ask if they can't even get a simple task like this done?? Third..the STAFF. I'm not quite sure if most of them have ever been to a school to learn how to groom (or just learned how to in general) or they just picked up sheers and went with it. I do know for a fact that one of the groomers there has not ever worked with pets their whole entire life and yet they have hired them there as a groomer. I'm sorry but I do not want to hand over my beloved dog to someone who has been hired off the street practically and was just given sheers but that's just me.



Cut N Dry you have a great price but that's the only thing you have going for you.

It is a really good place. Good prices, fair rates, and friendly services. I will be going back all the time. My dog and cat smell so fresh and clean. they smell better than my own laundry..... i would refer them to any one.

Ive taken my dog there to get his claws clipped, seeing as the claws are black and I dont want to do it myself. The first time we went there, he came out shaking. He bolted out the door and huddled against my car until i opened the door. I assumed it was because he hates his claws being clipped. But the second time I took him there, I walked in and heard the woman screaming at another dog! Alot of other customers in Dupo believe she beats the dogs. Beware
