  A Very Nice Place!

  We rented villa 12 and spent a few days in January there with our kids and some of their friends. It worked out great for our group because that villa has an extra room with a pull-out couch in it so along with the 2 bedrooms and another pull-out couch in the living room there were beds for all 8 of us! The villas are all decorated differently because they are all owned... read more by different people and then rented out through the office. They all have names, like villa 12 is fox den villa, and they had it nicely decorated with some pictures of cute little foxes, nice furniture, and lots of knotty pine ceilings and walls. I spent some time cooking in the kitchen - not much - just heated up some frozen food we brought along, but it has a full size stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave, blender, dishwasher, and pots and pans and stuff so you could do lots of cooking if you wanted to. We also didn't know there would be 3 TVs! Besides the one they show in the pictures in the living room that is connected to satellite, there were 2 more in the bedrooms that just worked from antennas but seemed to work great and got all the local Duluth channels. It was a really nice place to stay with our family - we ran the fireplace most of the time and played Life, Clue, Trivial Pursuit, and a couple other games, that were all supplied in the villa. We'll be back.

  A great experience!

  My husband and I went to... read more on the ski hill - it added to the whole "get-away" feel. Yet, we could still get directly to the hill for a day of skiing after a quick walk. Next time we'll be back with our kids. We definately recommend The Summit!
