        My son liked it there and he is also doing very well in Kindergarten and I am sure his care at Happytime had something to do with it. I do think there are some issues there but I also think there are issues everywhere

        dont bring your children there unless........

        safety is an issue, having educated and able staff is also an issue for the price you will pay this is not top notch!! the food is extreemly unhealthy and Nacy the owner can be rough on the kids!! She does sell yourself well and her center but I think she has become more of a business person vs. a childcare provider. I had the experience of working there as well as having my child enrolled there and we lasted only a few months. I was put incharge of a class without having my teachers degree and on some days the number of children in my group was higher then state requirements. I wish you the best of luck if you decided to put your children in their care, your gonna need it!!

        Happy Time Day Care Center is an accredited preschool located in the heart of Lincoln Park. All of our staff are certified teachers who have passion for working with children. Our preschool is a multi age preschool with a team of teachers working together to provide quality care and education. Our staff to child ratio is 1:8. It is our goal everyday to send parents to work or school knowing their child will be safe and secure. We are in good standing with the Minnesota Department of Human Services and the Minnesota Department of Health. We have been reaccedited by NECPA. The director has a masters degree in Early Childhood Education. She has won local and state awards for contribution to the early childhood profession. Student teachers are often placed in our location for practicum or student teaching experiences from the local colleges and on-line learning institutions. Happy Time has state and NECPA policies and procedures that are adhered to. Unfortunately, when a staff member continues to work in an unprofessional manner, the staff member will be fired.
