Disregard my one star,this company gets no stars. They never return calls, don't repair things, or if they do, it could take at least 6 months to get a new heating and air unit. I have been locked out of my online account after making a rent payment, and then was sent an eviction notice saying that I didn't pay rent for three months. There I was trying to reach my 50th property manager-seems like I have a new one every other month.
I couldn't reach my property manager by phone or email. I'm starting to get worried, and then, guess what? I calmed down and just made many calls and realized that I had all my confirmation numbers showing I made my payments. I decided to go down to the courthouse and file my paper work. I keep all my paperwork dealing with this company in a folder. There are far too many people rotating through this company, and if you want a call back you'll have to contact the BBB to get a call back. They'll be on the phone trying to talk to you. Now, the BBB can't resolve any issues, but it can get you a phone call...believe me...I've called several times because this company sucks so bad.
Since other reviewers are calling out the fabulous job certain people have given....well, I want to shout out my new property manager, Marissa Brissett for telling me to go to the Riverdale location to make my payment because it was closer. I want to thank Marissa Brissett for telling me the business hours and for informing me that I can't put the payment in a drop box because there is none, and someone would be in the office. I want to thank you for telling me all of this, the day before I headed out there....to ONLY find a locked office with no one in there, and to only call person after person to only get a voicemail. I sat outside in a car waiting to hear something back from you guys...I just wanted to pay my rent, and finally you, Marissa, tell me to put my money orders in an envelope and try to slide it under the door. Why do I have to do that, when you told me someone woukd be there, and your response was to tell me that you're sorry, and you forgot that Larry or Harry...whomever...was on vacation. Thanks Marissa Brissett for your lack of knowledge...thanks HavenBrook for being SLUMLORDS, thanks for overcharging your tenants(you didn't think, I would pull up my lease did you). Thanks HavenBrook for locking me out of my account after, I've paid my rent and then try to evict us. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to meet some wonderful people who just happened to have a horrible property management company. You guys SUCK!!!!
