went in to go blonde.had bleached applied to my hair to have it look the same color after a color dye.The whole point of bleach was to lighten it.What was the point of bleach if it was going to be dyed. She just went too fast twards the end and i had no say so of the dye color she put on.I didn't know at first she was adding dye while washing my hair. I didn't get anywhere. I dont think the right steps were taken.or why dye my hair after a bleach.now i will have to pay for an extra session to still be at step one of reaching my goal.with added damage. i was also a very very light blonde before and my first shot was not the outcome of the same dark brown. The olaplex with bleach lifted dramatically but then reversed and something in the process was not taken seriously.there had to be more patient in doing my hair..due to her following appt, the right steps were not taken. Now i have no virgin hair left to make the first step (the hardest and the ugly orangey stage) go a little smoother.
I've had nothing but the best at the Spa at River Ridge. I feel relaxed the moment I walk in the door & get pampered by the staff right away. Brittany has been my stylist--for oh geez, 8 years or so now--& always does an amazing job. Right now I'm sporting a super cute pixie that gets tons of compliments! I recently tried a facial & massage...I felt like jello by the time I left! It was wonderfully relaxing--just what I needed! From someone who has been coming here for years, I highly recommend the Spa at River Ridge!

I've only been here for the massage service so I can't speak to the other things they offer but my experience at River Ridge was very positive. I was a little put off and not sure what to expect after reading one of the reviews on this site that talked about how I can see some of Dublin's ""finer"" residents there (because first, why do I care? And also this makes me feel like a working schmo like myself is going to be turned away at the door.)
At any rate, I needn't have worried because everyone I interacted with was friendly and down to earth. The massage table has heated sheets, they use Aveda products and the therapist (Lauren) was fabulous. It was a stress-free pampering trip. The receptionist gave me a no-pressure tour when we were done and the facility looks beautiful. Everything also seems very clean. Check the prices because some-like massage and haircuts-were about average but the manis and pedis seemed pricey although this might be because I've been getting these done at places with names like ""#1 Nails."" I'll definitely be back.

Unlike most salons, the Spa at River Ridge actually charges for a haircut that goes to Locks of Love. If a customer is kind and patient enough to grow out 10 inches of hair in order that cancer survivors have access to quality wigs, then is it too much to ask for a complementary hair cut? Kudos to those salons who put their money where their mouth is and offer real incentives to donate hair.

If you expect perfection in your hairstyle, don't go to Megan.
I recently switched to Spa at River Ridge at the recommendation of a friends who liked the service and the hours of operation for the Spa. I've always had a bob all my life.. and figured, how hard would it be to get a trim on my bob. I thought wrong.. my bob was not the same length of either side, and there's differing lengths in the back of my head for my hair. It was a nightmare! I would never come back to that Spa.
Other than that... the spa is fine, friendly service, great hours.

Meagan is my stylist and she does a fantastic job consistently. Her hot oil scalp treatments are very relaxing and her terrific cuts use the latest techniques. She is very down to earth and treats her customers as if they are long-time friends. She cares!
