BEST service, selection and People
When you walk into the Dublin Sewing center, you are greeted with a hearty ""Hello"" and a smile. Then you are asked ""How can we help you today"". If the person is timid and not sure, the staff will tell them to look around and if you have any questions, please do no hesitate to ask. However if you know you want to buy a sewing machine, the staff will ask you a series of questions as to what you want to do. These questions are very important for the right machine for the right job is always the goal.
You would think that they would always suggest the highest priced machines, however at Dublin Sewing Center that is not the case. Toni who I have always dealt with will feel you out and if she knows a machine that is reasonably priced that will do the job you want, she will suggest that to you, of course you always have one year to trade up on your machine if you wish to. Dave the owner who is a great guy, from time to time has his mahagers specials, plus he takes every trade in, has them checked out top to bottom, them puts them back out for sale at a reasonable price.
When you purchase a new machine from Dublin they offer you a training class to get you better acquainted with your machine, which is taught by a very professional and knowledgable person who can answer any question you may have. It does not stop there, Dublin also offers sewing and quilting classes, that take you to the next level of sewing.
My advice to any sewer, crafter or weekend warrior would be: If you are looking for a good sewing machine, and do not want to be taken advantage of, go to Dublin Sewing Center, and tell them Glen sent you. I know you will get the BEST deal, and a machine that will do exactly what you want. Don't be fooled by other store prices, and think well this only cost $XX.XX, and that is all I need. I have heard from several people how they have purchased a machine and it turned out to be a piece of junk. Then of course after a certain time the department store will not take it back, and if you contact the manufacturer they will gladly replace it for you once you ship it back to them so they can check it out first. At Dublin if anything goes wrong with your machine, just bring it back and they will check it out. If you did get a bum machine, no need to worry for Dave would make it right for you.
I have been sewing for over 30 years now and I can tell you that ever since I have met the Dublin Sewing Center team, no where else will do for me. Dave you have a life long customer in me.
