    The Service was GREAT!

    Provided by

The Service was GREAT! My niece and her fiancee visiting from Portland Oregon. We wanted to try it out- heard so much about this restaurant. I had the combination ( Chile Relleno, Chile Verde enchilada , Rice and beans) the beans were creamy with lots of cheese. The enchilada - tortilla tasted home made and the chile verde - chunks of meat- green sauce was to die for... The chile relleno had ALOT of cheese and was Delicious! My husband ordered a carnitas burrito - lots of meat . My nice and her husband ordered a carnitas plate- cooked to perfection! I read some of the reviews - a few gave one star reviews- don't understand why... they must be very bitter people. The majority of reviews were outstanding 5 star reviews. Would love to know if they will be opening up one in the bay area (Los Gatos-Saratoga - Sunnyvale area) This is definately the BEST MEXICAN FOOD I HAVE EVER TASTED... The waiter was very professional and courteous. Seriously to you all out their - this place is reallllly realllly gooood!

Great place to spend time and eat good food

    Provided by

I've been here some months ago and really enjoyned the food. The service is nice and pays attention on your needs, they don't ask you too often, as is sometimes happen, but not even too rare. The only point, that I have to mention is the opening hours: they closed at 10 p.m., which is really early for an Italian, which was a bit of problem for us. This is just a suggestion, not a problem, of course) Anyway a great place to spend time and eat good food.

    Worst mexican food ever!!

    Provided by

My husband and I had heard sooo many good things about this place and were so eager to finally try it! WIth much anticipation we headed out to what we thought would be a pleasant dinning experience. The service was ok., but the food was horrible and not fresh AT ALL. Anyone that knows food can tell that the salsa is from a can, the beans are from a can, most of the foods are frozen and simply thawed out and thrown in the microwave upon order. My husband had the chile relleno and was still frozen in the middle.... IT WAS HORRIBLE.. My husband and i concluded that the only reason why people like this place so much is because they pile the cheese on most of their entrees, who doesnt like melted cheese over their food???!!...LOL Meted cheese will make just about any mexican dish flavorful...LOL. OVerall, we were very dissapointed and WILL NEVER visit that place AGAIN.

    Good restaurant

    Provided by

We really enjoy going to Casa Orozco for good Mexican Food. It's not a fast food type restaurant. I love their meat- I can't remember the exact name on the menu but I believe is New York Stake (Angus). The portions are big, but we usually take the leftovers home. I believe the dishes are priced right- between $12- $15 per dish. The service is OK, although they could improve a little bit. I believe it's because they are pretty busy. They just went major renovation, so the building on the outside improved a lot.

    best in the area

    Provided by

This is the best mexican restaurant, cantina style food in the area(dublin, san ramon, danville, walnut creek, pleasanton)!! Even the taquerias in the area do not have carnitas like Orozco's. Mole enchiladas are very good, never had a bad meal...slightly more expensive but better than any other mexican food restaurant out here!! Not like my mom's, but no one's is.... Gaurantee best mex. I'm continually looking for anything comprable in the area and have not found anything close.... also other review was old...they have expanded restaurant this year.\r

    Overpriced for what you get

    Provided by

This is another typical Mexican restaurant, although there were quite a few seafood entrees on the menu, compared to similar restaurants. However, the prices were generally much higher than you would find at a comparable Mexican restaurant. Paying more would be ok, but the food was just average, and the service was lacking.
