Engine Replacement
So I bought this 2012 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT truck back on Oct 26th, 2019. In February 2020, the engine was making loud ticking noises so I took it into a mechanic on the list of CarMax Warranty mechanics. The result was a new engine replacement was needed which was a total shock. After fighting with the insurance company, they finally decided to pay the cost difference to put a factory GM motor back into my truck instead of an aftermarket remanufactured motor. This whole process has been a total nightmare but I’m glad I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Buyer beware that even if you have the MaxCare extended warranty, problems like this might stuff occur.

The first generation of Infiniti Q50 was announced in 2013 and began sales in 2014. This model designed to replace the Infiniti G37 sedan, offering similar body styling with updated features. Throughout its years of production, there have been some notable changes from one model year to the next. In 2015, however, the vehicle was completely unchanged (probably because it was still coming off a completely new design/release in 2014). For the Infiniti Q50 2016, however, there were some notable changes that included three new engine options (all turbocharged), as well as updated steering and suspension. For this model year, Infiniti also improved their Direct Adaptive Steering.

I would not recommend CarMax to a friend… the price is too high.. APR is too high in most circumstances. certain locations aren’t professional and honestly I don’t want the car anymore my check engine is on I’ve only had it for 4 months as of July my oil sensor constantly beeps on and off, my wheel alignment needs to done, I’m selling the vehicle back to carmax

If you want luxury, yes. I have read many of the reviews however on the maintenance of these vehicles and Im hoping that the 2012 model did not have nearly the problems other years had. So far, the vehicle has been a dream. However, I have noticed this pecking noise from the engine and when I brought to the attention of mechanics, they said that was normal for my vehicle that has all the injectors. I am also concerned about the electrical system - everything is electrical which is amazing on one hand but I know can be expensive on the other. So far though, Ive only owned this used vehicle 3 months and I am still very happy I purchased it.
