My computer was completely going crazy on me. My computer couldn't connect to the internet, it turned it self off or restart while i was typing my homework, my itunes wouldn't open, word would freeze, a lot of other crazy stuff. At first i thought it was my internet not working was causing all these problem (that shows you how much i know about computers), so i called comcast, they ran test on my line (i think) and told me that it was running fine on their end. They suggested that it may have viruses. I took it to bestbuy for geeksquad and oh my god they are stupid. The guy wanted to charge me $450 to remove the viruses and it takes them 3 to 7 days. Not only that they also wanted me to buy stuff i had no idea what they were. I will never go there again. what a ripoff. My brother told me to search online to find someone to fix the computer. i came across certified computech by accident. I went to the website and read everything. They had free diagnostic and they come to your house. I called the 800 # setup an appointment the same day. They were right on time. They technician was very nice. When he came inside, he asked if i want him to take his shoes off, and then he introduced him self as Attila and showed me his work ID. he did a 15 min diagnostic on the computer and said that it would cost $99 to remove the viruses from my computer. i agreed. it took him about 2 hrs because he said that my computer needed a lot of work. when he was done, itunes worked, word started perfectly, i was able to go back online. everything worked better then before. He also recommended antivirus so i wont get viruses again and i bought a antivirus from him. i also have 30 warranty for their work. Its been 2 weeks and so for my computer is working like it was never infected. Thank You Attila
We have worked with these guys for over four years now and couldn't be more happy. We are on a fixed cost "all you can eat" contract with them. When we signed it they told us they really meant that they were assuming responsibility for anything hat went wrong, and any support we required day or night. Of course those are just words but we have found they really meant it. One Friday night a motherboard on one of our servers gave out, it was high season for us and we were working Saturdays. Sure enough when I got to work that morning there was an engineer standing at the door - they had seen the failure after hours and shown up even before we knew there was an issue. Having the motherboard fail was hardly their fault but they made all the repairs on the weekend within their contract. Everything works really well and there rarely situations when I have to call after hours - but I have always ben connected directly to a live engineer and been helped right away - none of this "hope the guy with the pager calls you back sort of thing". They never push technology on us but when updates are required they again do them within contract, no extra charges for our migration to the latest version of the mail system for example. Call them, you will be glad you did. - Lois
We have 3 computers at the house. 1 desktop and 2 laptops our internet connection is comcast. I called certified computech if they'll be able to connect everything wireless. they told me i needed a few extra things like a router and a wireless card for the desktop. i was going to buy the stuff from the store but they told me that they can also bring the parts so i dont have to go to the store. even better saves me a trip. They showed up the same day i called them and connected all my computer and they connected my printer to the network. now everyone can go online at the same time and each of the computers can print wireless. they also setup my wireless with a password so no one from the out side can steal my internet connection. the tech was great and very knowledgeable. 5 STAR!!! i will call them again for any work i need.
