What a great German restaurant! Latkes (Potato Pancakes) and sausages nothing could be better, except the friendly service and generous and modestly priced dishes. I'm anti-cabbage, but you couldn't find a drop left of the warm red cabbage side (tender and mildly sweet). This is definitely a place I'd take friends and family back to. It's not for everybody but if you need food that sticks to your ribs all day this is the spot. Try the German Sampler Platter to try a little bit of everything or go for the Goulash. And have a beer. Wait staff are very friendly even if they all look stupid in their costumes (and the German music does wear me down after a while).
I am actually German. And it is for sure the best German restaurant in Houston tx. I had the jaeger schnitzel and it was like back home!
