I was given a gift certificate for a mani/pedi...my favorite thing. First making the appointment was frustrating as they were booked & just sat on the other end with no solution as to when the next booking would be. Finally I said I'm calling to make an appointment please let me know when the next available appointment is...it was two weeks later :/
I'm a new mom so getting out for the first time for some "me" time was a big deal, I was excited to try a new place. First the pedi...it was decent but not relaxing at all. The girl even got up and left me for 5 min to clean...wouldn't have been bad if I was soaking but it was after the water had been drained. Then never in my life have I had a pedicure where lotion was not used...my feet were drier then before I went in.
Second the mani...I was shown were to sit and asked to soak my hands...the water was ice cold. I asked for warm water and she looked at me like I was being difficult. Then she proceeded to talk on her cell phone. The manicure was quick and rough...not soothing at all. Then it was all over. Meanwhile the woman who was sat for a pedi before me was still being worked on as I left. Not sure but I guess you have to be a regular to receive good treatment. I would give anything to have my nail place from Seattle. They treated everyone great & even offered wine while being pampered. I have yet to find a good nail place here.
