The customer service is just not there with Amore Bridal. I am too one of Emily S. Bridesmaids and feel like this was one way a company should not treat their customers. When aking for a refund for a dress that has not yet shown up and the wedding is less than 4 weeks away we were told that they do not do refunds and we should have seen the sign. Well guess what I do not have my product so I want my money back. This was something that was so unnecessary. Thankfully we have learned from our lesson and I hope you do as well.
I would like to be honest and explain how Amore' Bridal handled the refund for Emily S. Which is my sister and I am the one who went in to get the refund and I was the one on the phone with them along with my sister on August 4, 2015. One of Emily's bridesmaids called 2 weeks ago and asked about dresses at that time she was told the dresses shipped however it is now 2 almost 3 weeks since that call was placed and still no dresses. So a call was placed August 4 inquiring about these dresses that were supposed to be on their way. Excuse 1- dresses have been shipped from manufacturer to designer which should be the other way around. Excuse 2- they are taking so long bcuz they are over seas. Excuse 3- now after hearing those excuses she proceeds to inform us that there was an error with the order. When asked her to track order was told that seesaw haven't shipped. So if it is August 4 and wedding is August 29 then how would we have our dresses and be able to have them altered if need be. Mind u all that the order was supposed to have been placed in April and be in in July it is now August it would be one thing if these dresses were actually shipped and we were able to track them knowing a date to expect them to arrive since what we were told has been passed and almost a month past and they are unable to track a dress that cost about $175 each. Requested a refund on Aug 4 and was told there are no refunds. Well.... How do u not get a refund for something u never got?? Then after several demands for a refund we were told that we had to wait until Aug 5 for a refund. When we called back to go get refund the lady I guess owner hung up on us. So I went today Aug 5 for my sister since she had to work and when I walked in and I explained to the lady that I was Emily S. Sister she wanted to start tell her story again a different way when I explained to her that I didn't need to hear it again I just needed the refund she proceeds to place a note book in front of me with a bunch of scribbled notes on it with some name and a date of 7/17 no where did it show that it was for my sisters dress order nor did it say what the note was for. As u can see yourself it is well past 7/17. Then she calculated about 4 times and couldn't get the refund amount correct she was trying to say she owed a refund of two something I pulled my phone out put in the deposit amount and times it by 4 and had to help her calculate what the refund was supposed to be. Finally she got it right and wrote a check. All I can say is I don't not recommend this business for nothing!!! Customer service is not their specialty and obviously she isn't very good at keeping track of orders and the info for each order. She had all the bridesmaids info all together but as far as being able to show us where she had contacted them to see that issue it was scribbled on a note book with about 20 other notes for other orders. Maybe had she been more organized maybe she would have known herself that the dresses still hadn't arrived and she could have handled it before 3 almost 4 months had gone by. You can not convince me that these dresses would have been in and alterations would have been able to be made in time for an August 29 wedding. Please do yourself a favor and go else where for your gown needs.
Amore' Bridal did give her a refund and tried to explain to Emily S. that this was the information that was given to us from Eden Bridal. Her dresses would have been here for her wedding she would not let Amore' deliver the dresses she just continued to ask for a refund. We always try to do our best sometimes it is out of our control. We did refund her money.
I order my bridesmaids dress in april 30 she told me 10 weeks for them the come its aug 5 and my wedding august 29 and the dresses our not in and i had to go somewhere else to get my bridesmaid dresses to make sure they had dress by August 29... the owner gave my bridemaids and me the run around. And changes her story 5 times.. then wanted to refuse to give me my money back for dresses i dont have yet and not guaranteed to have them before my wedding...
