When you drive down route 13 and see that smoker in the parking lot of Jessie James Seafood and Barbeque, that is what in my former profession was called a clue. Where there's smoke there's fire. This place is on fire! Simple comfort food, prepared with a passion and delivered with care. Chef Michael's soups are worthy of praise, he's gifted in the arts of flavor profiles, garde manger, and originality. We had his crab chowder, simply magnificent. The cornbread is slammin' and the sweet tea alone is worth a visit. All the sides are smack your momma good. Chef is an artist with the smoker. The decor is funky, warm, and un pretentious. The unisex bathroom clean and well appointed. Service was excellent,. The prices are more than reasonable. Our meal with sweet tea, soup, and an entree with two sides each was less than forty bucks.
On the road and wanted a good meal. Welcome treat after a stressful day when stopped for a quick bite. Ended up with weekly special and something off the menu . Food was quite delicious, prepared well and served without excessive wait. Service was more than satisfactorily, checking our needs and satisfaction and was done with a smile!!! Restrooms clean. Overall, would return any day . Nice to have people that care about service quality and good food!
I personally really enjoyed simaron's food. Everything my husband and I have ordered (wings, subs, apps) have always been delicious. I hate when we order food, get it, and its barely enough to feed the both of us. With Simaron, their prices are great and we always have food for lunch the next day! Our orders have missed somethings before, but if you call them back they will always take care of it! We will continue to order from them!
