Having recently moved here from another state I was a bit nervous going to a Veterinarian I didn't know. To my surprise I love my dogs experience and mind also. The staff was super friendly and the Dr.was awesome. So happy I found them. Thank you

I do not have children, my 4 dogs are my kids! I have trusted Kay Animal Hospital since I moved to Georgia in 1999. The first time I walked into the clinic I felt like I was at home and my babies did, too. Over the last 13 yrs my pets have been treated for parvoe, one got hit by a car, and one (Cocker Spaniel) was attacked by a vicious pit bull. My babies have made it through this and more. I believe that God works through Kay Animal Hospital. The Kay family are amazing people! They are #1 in my book! They give animals the care, love and treatment that they need at an affordable price! I love this Vet and they are a big part of our extended family! Thank you Kay!

This is by far a great animal hospital. The staff is fantastic, caring and knowledgable and Dr. Michael Kay and Dr. Kinney were both great at getting to the bottom of my very sick kitty. She almost died and Kay Animal was able to save her life!!!!!!!! The have a client for life with me!! If you don't believe me, go see for yourself!

i am new to the area and just got a new puppy. the staff at Kay animal hospital were professional and very caring. i will be using their services from now on. you cant make everyone happy.

I am just about to leave Georgia for an out-of-state move, after living here for only a few months, and I sure wish I could take the Kay Animal Hospital and all of its staff with me. You cannot go wrong taking your beloved four-footed family members here for veterinary care.



My dog, an English bull terrier who has a tendency to develop unusual ailments, is 9 years old. During the course of her life to-date, she has had 5 veterinarians, two of which are well recognized in NYC as being excellent, but never has she received the kind of care and on-target treatment she has received at the Kay Animal Hospital.



ALL of the staff are wonderful, friendly and very helpful. I always felt like my dog was treated as a VIP and getting the best of care. And one of my favorite things is that when one of her unusual ailments caused puzzlement, I didn't find myself being bullied into expensive testing or rushed to use drugs; the veterinary staff are willing to research and provide sound answers. There has never been a rush to gouge my bank account as I have experienced everywhere else I have been in that way that I hate which implies if I truly loved my dog, I would hand over my bank account. There is a consciousness of economy and the client's budget, without ever a compromise in delivery of excellent treatment...I really appreciate this and have found pretty rare in the 30+ years I have been keeping cats and dogs. On the subject of cost, I have found the prices for services rendered at Kay Animal Hospital to be very reasonable, too.



One aspect of the hospital that I have found interesting and been very happy with is that they have a walk-in/no appointment policy. This made me a little nervous at first, but the fact of the matter is that my wait-time on every visit has been shorter...in fact, virtually non-existant...without exception, than any of the wait-times I have experienced with appointments at other vets.



Finally, my dog has never, ever been happy about going to the vet. Once she realizes she is there, she'll start shaking and panting uncontrollably. She still hates going to the vet and tries to plant herself and refuse to go to the door, however, in the short time she's been going to the Kay Animal Hospital, her shaking and panting have noticeably decreased, much to my surprise. I consider this a testament to the genuine kindness and gentleness of everyone she comes into contact with there.

I would agree with this review several years ago. I grew up with Kay being our family vet. When I became an adult I too used them. I agree he and his staff were indeed the best. Dee was awesome. In the last five years, things have changed. you never know who will be seeing your animal. The last four times I have been in to see the Vet, it has been four different Doctors. The last had never met me, knew nothing about my elderly dogs incontinence and assumed I was a neglectful owner. She treated my dog rough and was absolutely hateful to me. I don't think I would have gotten the same treatment from Kay, but he is allowing this to ruin his business. The office staff is strictly business. No more of the warmth Dee provided. After three so-so vets and one completely unacceptable vet, we have since left his practice.

Well today I used kay and his great staff again.I have a seven month old lab her name is sophia.Kay and his staff are the best people every and would do anythings to help anyone.I would vote them as the best vet in the area.I tell everyone i know to take there animals there.Thank you once again to everyone at kay's.I really feel like there like family.Because they take very good care of my two dogs and makes our lives complete at home.When it's time to go see kay there ready to go bye bye.They ready to go see jesse the dog that walks around making sure everything and every animal is okay he is like a support dog.And very cute.
