Dependable Cleaners

Unfortunately many of the clothes I brought for wash and fold were lost. While they were able to recover my clothes my girlfriend wasn't so lucky. Over 500 dollars worth of clothes were lost and while the owner was apologetic when it came time to pay she only gave us half the 10X's what we paid contract because she seemed to think we got most of our clothes back. She claimed we received over half the clothes, but being the poor establishment that this is she didn't even weight the clothes we were given back!



It also took over 3 weeks to get the clothes and be done with this awful experience. She also insinuated we were lying about how many clothes we lost which is very unfortunate. We were willing to try again with them expecting this to be a fluke accident, but at the 9th hour she made us feel like thieves when it was the fault of the cleaners who lost all of the clothes.

I called the Dorchester Ave location with the hopes of getting my clothes picked up for dry cleaning. I read a review stating this was a reasonably priced dry cleaners with pick-up / delivery service in Belmont, Cambridge, Dorchester, Quincy, etc. I was greeted by a polite and helpful employee on the phone. I asked about their pick up service and was told this service is not offered in Dorchester. She was unable to tell my why, so I requested to speak with a manager. I was put on hold as she had to call her manager on another line because there was no management at the store. "Management" said, "It was a company decision to not offer the pick up and delivery service in Dorchester." At this point I let the associate on the phone know I was unhappy and would look elsewhere to spend my money. It's not right that they do business in our neighborhood but won't extend the same services they do to other cities. It's discrimination. The associate was polite and helpful but I won't support businesses that demean our neighborhood but will gladly take our money.
